A number of customers have been asking why we have been banned from CubeCartForums.org and I think its time to put an end to the rumours and frankly some of the slanderous
comments posted about me personally, Andrew Stevens. So here's the truth!!!

In 2005 my twin Sister Andrea Stevens aka Andi aka AnsUK set-up CubeCartSkins.net. At that time she was a valued part of the community, spending great amounts of time offering free support on the main CubeCart Forum and the original Third Party Forum CubeCart.org in which Al, the owner of CubeCart made her an Administrator. One evening she was verbally attacked and physically threatened by one of the forum users at which point her husband Steve demanded that she leave the forums behind and concentrate on her business. Very upset at what had happened she drove over to see our parents and when her and our Mother went out for a drive, there was a terrible accident and both my Mother and my Sister lost their lives.

I personally went into a string of depression as anyone who is a twin will tell you, we are connected in a special way..like the same person but in separate bodies so not only had I lost the other half of myself, I had also lost my Mother. I attempted to end my life on a number of occasions and in the end had to spend some time in hospital as I was having an emotional breakdown.

At this point Andi's husband Steve tried to take over the business and I was very little help to him at this time but customers had paid for installations etc., so Steve sat down and tried to learn how to cover the basics until I was well enough to come back and help him, which to his credit he did very well considering that he had just lost the love of his life. Because Andi loved the CubeCart community so much he joined the forum and was overwhelmed with the support he received from the community.

At this point all seemed to be going well until Rob Freemantle aka Robsta started making some very sick allegations that Andi hadn't died at all and he in fact was Andi....His accusations based on him not being able to find any proof of my Sister's death in the newspapers and started demanding a copy of Andi's death certificate along with photos of him and Andi together, proving they were not the same person. I'm sure you can appreciate not only how upsetting this all was but how sick such an accusation could be from some stranger my Sister spoke to on a public forum. However Steve uploaded their wedding pictures as proof but told Robsta where to go and to never contact him again.

Robsta eventually apologised and set-up CubeCartForums.org in which Steve joined. Following the amount of free time Steve dedicated to the forum giving away free support, Robsta then asked him to become a Moderator on the forum. Very flattered Steve took the position. During a conversation Robsta mentioned something Andy had apparently told him about Steve over an MSN conversation. Steve then went through all of Andi's private MSN conversations between her and Robsta and found the discussions disturbing to the point where he started to believe that Robsta and Andi were having an affair which Robsta denied. A couple of weeks later, Steve found that someone had been stealing the source code of our templates and tracked the IP Address to another Commercial Member of the forum but when Steve reported this to Robsta he refused to do anything about it which infuriated Steve so Steve had a massive argument with Rob and resigned his Moderator position.

Robsta makes a point of asking the forum members for ideas on how to improve the forum and when Steve put forward a number of idea's Robsta ignored and belittled them, further infuriating Steve and making his relationship with Robsta even worse. Steve at this point said he wanted nothing more to do with the forum and stopped going back.

Then one our web design customers set-up a CubeCart Developers review website in which Robsta received a very negative review from one of his customers. He contacted Steve and demanded the review be removed as it could potentially damage his business reputation. Steve instructed Robsta to contact the person behind the website, however Robsta was so rude to the owner that she too refused to remove his customer's review, pointing out that Robsta provides the same service at CubeCartForums.org and HE wouldn't remove negative reviews, unless of course they were about him and his business!

At this point Robsta sent Steve a very nasty email calling him all the names under the sun and continuing with his sick allegations about my Sister Andi. Naturally Steve sent a nasty email back and so Robsta banned him and CubeCartSkins.net from the forum. I then personally gave Rob a piece of my mind for daring to slander the name of my Sister and my Mother so he banned me too, even though i never used the forum!

Since then there have been posts on the forum referencing me personally and yet I never had anything to do with the forum! Robsta then banned Ian for being associated with me and Steve and has since started spreading rumours that me and Steve are the same person! This again has been proved to the contrary!

All in all Robsta doesn't like being told he's doing things wrong and because Steve didn't go along with everything he wanted, refused to delete a negative review about Robsta's business because the review was on a website on our servers, Steve's belief in a possible affair between Andi and Robsta and as such banned us from the forum hoping that it would damage our business which it has not.

I hope this clears up the confusion and puts a stop to all the ridiculous and childish rumours going around.
