Approximately 18 months ago we announced that we were following the trend of other designers and coders in no longer supporting Internet Explorer 6 and we are now doing the same with Internet Explorer 7. This means that all new templates and modifications will not be checked for compatibility with IE6 and IE7.

The reasons for this decision are that Microsoft Internet Explorer is now on version 9 with version 10 currently in Beta release with a stable release expected any day now. Additionally these earlier versions of Internet Explorer do not interperate HTML, XHTML, CSS and other coding languages the same way as other major browsers resulting in seperate stylesheets needed or design elements simply not looking as intended. Thankfully newer versions of Internet Explorer are better in displaying code the same as other major browsers but even now extra stylesheets are sometimes needed and its simply too much work to have to code extra stylesheets for this single browser that doesn't display things the same as all the others!

As of now we will only test our templates and modifications in the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer Versions 8 & 9 +
• Firefox Versions 5 +
• Safari
• Opera
